Starcraft 2: Journey to Diamond League

Today is kind of a break, ( girlfriend aggro ) going to a party tonight and had a photo shoot of me and her this morning. and now going to her mom's to have lunch and stuff. Pretty fun though. I won't be home tonight so ill be on tomorrow getting to Diamond league =) 2 days late i know but i'm sorry, i try to have a life.

Just got upgraded to platnuim ( 28 i think )! owned a plat zerg, with Tanks / MM / Banshee with early game Hellion rush.

Had fun with it. I'm sorry that i didn't get to diamond, and kind of stretching it to anyother day, But i'm going to be playing all night so hit me up. ( Schweet ) also, I'll be trying to get to diamond league i've only played about 20 games the last 2 days because i've been busy, But this guide is really quite awesome. Starcraft 2: Journey to Diamond league

Hey guys as you most know, that i've restarted playing SC2 and since i recently came back I have made a deal that i will play from Gold 44 - Diamond league to use IPWN's #1 Starcraft 2 Guide. I said it would take about 2 days but i lied, With my girlfriend Aggro atm, it's insane how hard it would be. I will hit plat tonight though, so i might hit diamond depends how fast i can go through it tomorrow... tonight im 8-0 useing the guide last night i was 10-2 i think! (  that was my first games back in the league that i lost ) So right now i'm 22 gold. and will be about 80 plat? idk.

Starcraft 2: My journey to Diamond

The next few days i'm going to be following tips by Ipwn's writer. and see how they go on my journey from gold 29 - diamond. I've played diamond players and completely rape them. So i wont lie, its not going to be too hard, but I'm going to following the guide to a T and see how i do. Keep up with my daily posts on how i did that day! I'm hoping to get there in 2 days. hard grinding over the next few days so my posts will be about as long as this one!

My first day back!

Starcraft 2 Guide: 5 ways to win

You hate losing don't you? Everyone does, that's why i've made this Starcraft 2 Post, So you can get that extra push and reminders that will give you maybe the 2% more wins to get you to the dimand bracket! ( Hopefully ) if not check out this Starcraft 2 Guide to get into the Dimond Bracket

So here it goes, 5 reminders / tips to help you push into the Dimond bracket

1.) Always Scout - Always know what your enemy is doing. If you don't how do you know what to counter, build, When to expand, Attack and etc. You can't unless you ALWAYS scout!

2.) Key Scouting - Make sure you know what the guy is building and creating. and get a good picture of how advanced or behind you are in units or resources

3.) Be aggressive - Attack first, make the battles closer to his base, putting on the slightest pressure can change the game, besides its a video game don't turtle its not fun.

4.) Keep your minerals low - Keep them atleast under 400 minerals 400 Gas If you're doing this while having 1 worker always being made, you're doing the best you can. ( plus gives you the okay to expand or not )

5.) Keep your minerals protected - Getting your minerals destroyed will ruin a game for you, no matter what, especially how Starcraft 2 is all low money, getting all your workers killed = GG most of the time

Starcraft 2: How to stop 4 Gateway Rush! Terran, Zerg, Protoss

This is called " The Korean 4 Warpgate " Alot of people think it's just an all in strat, but it's really not it's pretty good in the mid game too...

First off you need to know how to spot it... the give aways are
10 (psi) Gateway
12 (psi) Gas
15 (psi) C-Core
The opponent is saving the chrono boosts.

How to stop it 4 Gate Rush!
( Protoss )
1.) Save your Chrono Boosts and use them wisely.
2.) DO NOT miss the pylon he lays down this is critical! Easy way to make this happen, is to make sure he never came in your base. and when he does. follow him... But watch the entrance still he might be sneaky and bring in another!
3.) Keep building units! if you can stop the rush you have a pretty fair advantage of macro, His money game is low. Yours should be normal

( Terran )
Heres a build for you.
10 Depot
12 Rax
13 Gas
15 OC
(Make marines from 1st rax continuously)
20 Rax
21 Rax
(Make marauders from 2nd/3rd rax continuously)

You can use this build against every single build. Move out and push when you feel like you got a decent sized army or feel comfortable but don't wait too long. Make sure to expand as your puting on pressure a lot of protosses will hold this off.

Only Thing you need to look for is DT/Voidray's if you can make sure you scout it then its pretty easy game.

after this build start going starports for medivacs and ghosts if you think he'll go DT's

( Zerg )
I think Zerg have the most problems with the 4 Gate rush
Because Protoss can do so many different things, scouting it is the most important... if you don't your dead.

Maps with short distances to base to base, Use spines to help you defend.

Maps with back doors don't overly invest in spines.

Maps with huge open area's around your base, Make sure you place spines well

Maps like Lost temple. you can make a lot of spines to defend this

Now for unit choice, I'd say go ling / roach with hydra's in later. if you can upgrade your lings. Make sure that the toss isn't going air afterwards! DO NOT GET MUTA'S!!!!!

Starcraft 2 - Top Replays!

First off when your watching this, Make sure you're looking at build orders! if you don't there really is no point. 2nd off if you see something you don't really understand I'm going to give you my personal Email to give you tips!

Terran/Zerg - ( Watch if you're Zerg player )Slayerz boxer vs FruitDealer... boxer does some great things that i've never seen before. Even though he loses its a good game. the Zerg... Terran/Toss - ( Watch if your Terran Player ) Boxer is top notch in this game, No doubt about it. Toss makes some stupid moves but a great video for terran players. These games are from pros... and i always believe if you study pros you'll get better, just like studying your Replays!

Starcraft 2 - Top tips: Macroing.

Something you should know when picking a race, is what you have to do to control your Macro ( money Management )

Terran - you have to know when your suppose to Drop Mules, Scan, and Supply. Usually you'll drop mules if your good at it, and scan when ever you NEED to scan. Other than that you use scouts.

Zerg - You have to have mass amount of Larva, use your queen and spread your creep out! ( pretty simply right? ) the part when it gets challengeing is when you have to fast expo and etc.

Protoss - Use your Chrono boosting to the best advantage. even on probes! The faster your units come out, in the early game the safer you are especially with strong units. More money you get = better long run game

Alright, So here is what i was thinking about doing. Every day writing something about Starcraft 2 that can help you. So favorite my blog and check it out.
